The Crowne Plaza is a nice hotel. Located in the technology hub of Bengaluru Electronics City.
It has multiple restaurants and even a pub. It has a spa, gym and pool.
As the car pulls up to the gate, they check for bombs under the car and in the trunk. Disconcerting at first and then you get used to it.
Then the car pulls up to the front door, where you are greeted by very friendly people. You place your items on a conveyor belt to an x-ray machine each day and walk through a metal detector. Once through the security checks you are in the lobby.
On the main floor are 3 of the restaurants. An italian restaurant called Aloro. A steak house called Burgundy Grill. I was surprised to see that one. It is a room off of the Italian restaurant. The third is an all day bistro called 24@43. This is where I get breakfast and eat most dinners.
The outdoor restaurant is called East. It offers Pan-Asian food and it is located on the roof of one of the lower buildings. Right beside it is the outdoor infinity pool.
A great place to soak in the warm Indian sun while reading poolside. Though I haven't been able to stay out too long in the heat.
The room is spacious and has a desk I can work at. There were cookies in the room to welcome me and I thought that we were off to a good start :D
