Built by Kempe Gowde, it is one of the oldest temples in the city. It is dedicated to Nandi Bull, the vahana (vehicle) of Lord Shiva. The Bull is carved out of a single rock and is approximately 4.5 metres high and 6.5 metres in length.
You take your shoes off when entering temples, so my socks are not the cleanest.
Also, the bull is very sticky as it is coated with offerings of ghee (clarified butter).
Touching Nandi with two hands is supposed to bless you with happiness :D
