Delhi Drive

On the drive from Delhi to Agra and back again, I had a lot of time to look at the country side.

I saw wild monkeys...

There were seed huts holding gathered grains until they are needed for feeding animals or to be processed for food.

Brick production using the red soil.  The texture of this soil varies from sand to clay...

I saw many aid trucks heading to Nepal with supplies...

And, there were highway signs that had ominous wording (LOL)...

Over two days (8 hours in a car), you really get to know someone.  Deepak had picked me up at the airport in Delhi, drove me all around Agra and back to Delhi.  We had discussed differences and similarities of India and Canada on topics ranging from the cost of items, laws, traditions and parenting.  He likes to spoil his daughters and just like most Canadian men, he dislikes clothes shopping with his wife.  He says hi to Scott and Ethan and hopes Scott likes the rug! :D
